I picked up the camera seriously in 1994, putting down my collection of 35mm disposable colourful kids cameras, 110 cameras, polaroids etc and storing them in a shoe box…

With commercial work already published, I started working freelance and studying photography at University; the early days revolving around a 35mm fully manual Minolta, a Mamiya medium format camera and a “59 second” Ilford wet to dry black and white printer, leaving with distinctions in photography.

I use that foundation to enjoy a contemporary style of people photography, focusing on relaxed, natural and lasting images.

I am also an experienced language teacher and published musician but my true love when it comes to Art is Photography!
