I get a lot of messages asking what are the best Digital Cameras under £100, what would I recommend.
These days there many options available and so it’s almost impossible to give a definitive answer but I’m going to list what I think is worth looking at at the moment.
Remember, sometimes the real world difference between two cameras is just how it feels in your hands, not necessarily the spec. All the top brands, and some of the lesser known brands, are producing cameras and tech that is amazing. This is why I don’t get involved with the age old Canon vs Nikon argument.
Don’t worry about the megapixels… You’d be better off choosing the colour you prefer than one with slightly more megapixels!
So here’s a little list of what could be worth checking out, some of which I’ve used, the rest I think look worth checking out further or buying outright:

Remember, most of the top brands are producing decent cameras even at the lower end of the market and there is no reason that you can’t use any of these to produce some great images, that will print up to wall size if you really wanted to go large.
We used to do it with technology way less advanced, so with some knowledge and practice you can do the same with these. Most likely you can pick up these and just have fun.
A good budget camera like these should slip in the pocket, so you have no problems taking it everywhere. It’s no good on the shelf at home!
Now after a while you might want to step up a level, I get asked about that too. What’s a decent beginners DSLR for example? There are some crackers on the market… I’ll get to that post soon.
That’s it for now, I’ll update this page as and when possible.
As always, feel free to share this post…
Thanks, leave a comment and let me know if you have any recommendations yourself!
